Economy
Value
About £2k less than an equivalent Focus, which makes it pretty good value for money.
Costs
50 mpg (more on a long motorway run) and Group 6 insurance

Driving
Better than I expected, given that it's an MPV. It's an easy car to drive. On twisty country lanes the steering isn't as positive as i'd like, but everywhere else it's fine
Performance
Gutsy little engine pulls well when asked, as long as the revs are above 1500. At 75mph it's doing 2500rpm, so plenty of pull left, but it does mean you need to change down a gear if you slow to about 50 and you need to be in 3rd gear at 30.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems so far and Mazda's reputation is encouraging
Image
Dreadful, i'd much rather have an RX8. But I didn't buy it for its image
Comfort
Seats don't feel that supportive when you first get in, but it's surprisingly good on a long (500 mile) haul

Security and Service
