What does this car say about you?
im young (26) i like speed but not chavving it up by going for something like a scoobie and the like.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
the majority love it, im in the army and my boss spent a good 10 minutes playing with the back doors alone, some dont like it but then they dont drive so i think its a little green eyed monster influenced, my girlfriend keeps trying to drive it- NO CHANCE!
Would you buy this car again and why?
definately! even with the high fuel consumption and the little extra's you need to do to keep it tip top i.e. oil top ups, pound for pound it is the best entry level sports car out there bar none, even jeremy clarkson said so!
What are you likely to buy next?
either the R3 or the 40th anniversary models of the rx8

Did you get a good deal and why?
i did, i was given a grand for my Y reg vectra, also a 3 month warranty was included.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Had to have one!
What was the dealer like?
didnt know anything about the renesis engine, luckily i did having always had the rx8 at the top of my list, they included a free service but this was not done properly so took it to my local mazda dealer.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
An absolute wet dream! sticks to the road like glue and awesome in the corners, and hearing that engine scream at 8000rpm never fails to bring a smile, best car ive driven by far!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
the neutral sensor was unplugged causing my rx8 to seek revs quite violently only at idle, the car drove perfectly normal and no damage was done, this was quickly fixed by a mazda dealer near windsor.
What's most practical about your car?
the way everything is set out inside the car, the seats are comfortable, more so than most cars, ideal since i do long journeys.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
BOSE sound system!
