Summary
What does this car say about you?
Fun, fun, fun!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Love it! One neighbour, and I quote, "That is the most beautful car I have ever seen" Ok, at that point even I raised my eyebrows, but u get the point.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, but I'd get a second hand one just so I could fettle around with it to see how much more power you could squeeze out of it. It revs like my motorbike!
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably the 135i coupe. But it's rather overpriced for what you get, again, IMHO. So gonna wait to see what the residual values look like in a year or so

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£17,950
When did you buy the car?
December 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
I think I did. The car effectively had delivery miles for which I paid £8k less than asking price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
IMHO it offered the best value all round for the price, quality and driving experience in it's class.
What was the dealer like?
Superb. Best car dealer I have been to so far, and that's including the likes of MB, BMW, Honda (former car), another Mazda dealer and a couple of car supermarkets.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Absolutely fantastic! I did a trackday at the Bedford Autodrome with a race prepped Clio 192 and a Porsche 911 (auto box) and have to say that HP for HP, the Mazda would be the most fun car to take around the circuit. When I do, will let you know.
What's it like to park?
It's alright. Body feels more bulbous from the inside but that just takes getting used to the dimensions of the car. Once you've cleared a few parking manouvers, it's childs play. Those that complain can't park, simple as.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No, touch wood.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot. For a sports car, it's surprisingly roomy! Managed to fit the g/friends suitcase in there, enuff said.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Bluetooth handsfree system - only realised how useful those things are when I actually got one. Always used to say they were a waste of cash...still eating my words.
