Mazda Tribute 3.0 V6 4WD 5d Auto (2002/51) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Best value for money when I bought it from new considering my criteria.
Costs
Pretty poor urban fuel consumption, but average for engine size. Motorway driving with cruise control substantially improves consumption. Servicing is about average.

On the road
Driving
Handling around corners can be better.
Performance
The V6 has all the oomph you'll want.

Living with it
Reliability
Had a faulty monitor valve that caused the engine panel light to come on. Apparantely this was a design flaw in early models that has now been fixed. Other than that, I have only put petrol in the car over the last 3 years.
Image
Probably a bit naff, but there aren't many on the road.
Comfort
Relatively no-thrills, but has tons of space if you're tall like me

Security and Service
Security
Sturdy. Has excellent high driving position.
Service
Been ok overall, but needed to argue that the next service is 1 year OR mileage. They tried to get me to service earlier threatining me that my warranty would otherwise be invalidated.
