Summary
What does this car say about you?
Like something a little different and not bothered about the badge.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Wife likes the V6 grunt. Family don't have much to say about it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
With a diesel, yes. But they don't make them any more.
What are you likely to buy next?
Dodge Nitro or Jeep Cherokee maybe.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,000
When did you buy the car?
April 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
I think so - car was in good condition with full history, and the seller needed to get rid due to being made redundant. We struck a fair deal.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a good tow car to replace my Ford Explorer - this seemed to fit the bill.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good - drove 600 miles in 11 hours across five countries and got out feeling OK. Tire noise can be intrusive on some roads, but that's probably down to tyre choice as much as anything.
What's it like to park?
Easy - you can see all the corners and it's not that big compared to other 4x4s.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Slight knocking from front suspension somewhere when going over bumps - probably drop link or anti-roll bar which are cheap enough. Passed MOT no problem.
What's most practical about your car?
Space inside and masses and masses of storage.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Column gear-shift - it means there's loads of room for storage where the transmission tunnel would otherwise be.
