Can't really get more for your money!
Costs
Fuel Consumption not bad for a V6 (25-30mpg). Dealer parts far too high, I recommend finding salvaged parts, much cheaper. Servicing can be expensive.

Driving
Front and Rear struts aid road holding, but suspension is too high and soft. Otherwise a very smooth driver.
Performance
Super smooth V6, but not a racer. Sports Mode on Autobox quite interesting, nice idea for overtaking etc. Pulls along effortlessly none-the-less. Nice sound from V6 at 5-7k revs.

Living with it
Reliability
Excellent build quality and solid car, except for interior, typical Japanese interior...bit flimsy. Engine hasn't gone wrong at all yet, as long as you keep the oil topped up. Autobox MUST be serviced yearly or it will go kaput. I recommend a Manual.

Most people have rarely seen one or know what it is, which I love. Excellent paint finish by Mazda as usual, glistens in the sun beautifully. Doesn't have prestige like a BMW/Audi/Lexus etc. but leather seats and engine size impress the most cynical.
Comfort
Very comfortable seats, nice interior, easy to use controls on dash. Passengers haven't really complained even though rear seats can be cramped as the cars got a low roof. No space problems for front passengers at all. Boot space is fantastic.

Good central locking system, immobiliser and alarm (I think?! but not sure if it works).

Good service but astounding costs and prices, try independent garages and save you hard earned cash!

Suspension or Driveshaft can wear out, so get it checked. Brake callipers can and will stick on pre-95 models, get them replaced ASAP.
