Summary
What does this car say about you?
A driver with taste! (Well I hope so).
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
All think it is very comfortable. Like the look of the car. Some think it is a bit small in the back.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely yes. Great to drive, solid, safe, cheap to run, comfortable. Just all round brilliant.
What are you likely to buy next?
I will keep this car until it dies. Which may take some time! My other car is a Lexus (a disappointment) which I am going to swap for an e or m class, perhaps an A6 or VW Tourag.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£7,700
When did you buy the car?
November 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Immaculate condition, 1 private owner, only 58k miles - a dream example.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a car for family use and business driving.
What was the dealer like?
Range Rover dealership - absolutely appalling. A total shambles. Even fired one of the salesmen half way through my dealing with him! And rightly so too.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Really quiet, really smooth. Lots of punch when driving it alone, however when fully loaded the 1.8 does struggle a bit. Really relaxing and comfortable to drive. A lovely car.
What's it like to park?
Ok. Would benefit from rear parking sensors. My wife often complains that she struggles with it as a result.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Have had to replace a rear spring on near side back wheel. Brake discs and pads at c80k miles.
What's most practical about your car?
Doors open especially wide which is great for loading our little boy into his seat. Really good for fitting a child seat into, although doesn't have Isofix. The seats folding completely flat is brilliant. Also find the Mercedes dog guard arrangement to be excellent (keeping our often wet black lab at bay).
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
One stork control on steering wheel. Folding mirrors are good.
