Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate (2008 - 2014) C220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Sport (2011) 5d Auto Owner Review

I love this car. It is the C220 AMG Estate Blue Efficiency. Comes with a fab panoramic roof, full leather and all the toys. It is in silver with all the exterior bits colour coded. The headlamps are the best on any car I own auto dipping and adaptive cornering. It's lovely to get into and all the switch gear is of a good quality. Cruise control is very responsive but it took a bit of getting used to having all the controls on one stalk. Electric boot is a useful and while it's not the biggest there's room for our dog and luggage. I had mine chipped to 204bhp from 168bhp (400nm to 500nm) and it made a significant difference to performance and economy. The adaptive suspension is a real plus to iron out the UK's shocking roads although the handling is adequate rather than performance. It's a real head turner this one and the fuel economy is very, very good with a fantastic range from the large tank. Only downside is I dislike the footbrake which needs a bit of coaxing to release. Memory recall on the driver seat would be nice. I really like this car, it's the first Merc I've ever owned and to date I am not disappointed. I'd have another.
