Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
As I drove over 30,000 miles a year I needed a car quickly to replace my Hyundai Elantra which was written off in a car accident. I figured I would break my brand loyalty to Hyundai and treat myself to a bit of luxury.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Initially (first year) I hated the car as was still getting grieving over the premature death of my Hyundai Elantra. Afterwards I fell in love with her.
What's it like to park?
Surprisingly good. Nicely weighted power steering, big mirrors (with remote electric adjustment) fabulous automatic gearbox and nice turning circle meant it was easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Shortly after purchasing I was stuck in traffic on the A12 after a car transporter turned over and shed its load when there was an almighty bang and I found out that the expansion tank on the radiator had exploded. U got a refurbished rad for about £85. The boot lock failed after 2 years I managed to get that fixed. I blew up the throttle actuator after driving through a deep puddle at speed (quoted £1200 for a replacement) plus the alternator was beginning to play up and the exhaust was blown (£1000). So I scrapped it.
What's most practical about your car?
Comfort. Never got a back ache or anything. Surprisingly good in the snow. I drove through inches of the stuff when front wheel drive cars and four wheel drive cars were being abandoned.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Electric sunroof, automatically folding mirrors, a heater that was instantly warm (no A/C in this model), courtesy lights, folding rear head rests (to improve vision when parking), traction control,......the list goes on.
