Economy
Value
I couldn't have got better for the money for this standard of car.
Costs
Local garage will do the service and he's very competative. I get 40 to the gallon at a steady 65 to 70mph on the motorway with the cruise control on and the air-con off, which is better than my Rover.

On the road
Driving
Very smooth, both around town and on the open road. Not that quick getting away from roundabouts but then it is only an 1800 in a big old car. With over 154k on the clock, it still feels as if there is plenty of life in the old girl yet.
Performance
It's not for the boy racer with his boom box on full blast, but is excellent on long motorway journeys.

Living with it
Reliability
Apart from a new air management system(changed under warranty), no problems thus far.
Image
It's a Merc…
Comfort
Fair to middling. Seats are okay but lack lower lumber support. Plenty of legroom front and back.

Security and Service
Security
Alarm and immobiliser as standard, so can't complain, although I've no idea how it would stand against someone determined to steal it. Certainly good enough to deter the average toe-rag car thief.
Service
Both the dealer that I bought this from and the local Mercedes garage that carried out the warranty work have been good.
