Mercedes-Benz C-Class Saloon (2000 - 2007) C220 CDI Elegance SE 4d Auto (04) Owner Review

Hi guys well not my first MB but never a c class that had more to do with the utter crap W202 version but this 55 plate that was a direct swap from a very fast 55 plate 530D (140,000) has gotten better every day I have owned it its in brilliant condition 8 owners and FSH the car is superb. Breaks are softer but has real stopping power on the road its hard to explain that one, as soon as I got it cleaned the ERG (NEVER REQUIRED IT ( DPF whistle clean changed tyres to all-season the car was mint condition for 16 years and at around 2k in value no other car for 2-3k can match it for refinement, pace and class wife has a brand new e class and this little baby can still match it, averaging 46 mpg rural driving. NO RUST ANYWHERE which cant be said for CLK's same age. This car even has the folding rear seats option which is very rare. I plugged it in then and then today it had no-fault codes. YOU COULD GET 1 for £800 but better getting a pristine one for around 2k Drive new cars all the time but this one is my new keeper as all electrics fully works. Same engine that's in the e class to 2006 that can go past 1m miles with care easily! What toys it has not got can be added later although heated seats and leather a must have!
