Mercedes-Benz C-Class Saloon (2007 - 2014) C220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY SE (Comand) 4d Auto Owner Review

This is my second Mercedes and after the last one I wasn't so sure about owning another one but I liked the look and after a test drive it convinced me I should go for it. I traded in a BMW 320i which although was nice to drive and very stylish it had a very thirsty petrol engine and was starting to develope some problems so it was time to part company. I'm so glad I did. The look and feel of this car is way superior to the 3 series. Handling is first class and fuel economy is up there with the best for such a big car. I believe it has a 5☆ Encap rating and it certainly feels like it. The ride is very smooth and quiet and it just feels like a quality car. Ok it's not a top end Mercedes but I've had Audi's and BMW's and they don't compare. Driver position is very good and there's plenty of toys to get familiar with. I'm a music lover so it's important to me to have a good quality sound system and it doesn't disappoint whatsoever. Sound is crystal clear and is easy to use. Boot space on the saloon is cavernous and there's good legroom for passengers in the back seats. Parking sensors front and rear are a big help too. The only thing's I'm a little disappointed with is the rear seats don't fold forward and the parking brake is foot operated. Just minor thing's really. Overall would I recommend this car. Well yes I would. Very highly. If your in the market for a used car and your maybe looking for an Audi A4 or BMW 3 Series then the Mercedes C220 is worth considering.
