Mercedes-Benz C-Class Saloon (2007 - 2014) C350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Sport 4d Auto Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
Having owned and driven a W203 C200 CDI for five years prior to buying this car, the difference between the two is like night and day. The ride is much smoother, the steering is snappier and more responsive, the interior is more up-to-date and the cabin is just a nice place to be. The 7G-tronic gearbox shifts as smoothly and predictably as its 5G-tronic predecessor. It's all more or less as you'd expect from a Mercedes.
I can talk about the cabin and the interior all day, but the real pièce de résistance, the real hero, is the engine. To call it quiet, smooth and refined is an understatement. The 3.0 V6 in the C350 CDI is simply fantastic. When you plant your foot into the carpet the engine comes to life, snarls like a wild animal and pushes you back into the seat, but when you're cruising along an A road at 50mph there's not even a whisper out of it. Compared to its inline-4 diesel counterparts, the V6 is so absolutely tremendous, it deserves a review all by itself.
If you're in the market for one of these cars, don't even bother with the four cylinder versions, just go straight for the 3.0 V6 diesel. You won't regret it.
