Mercedes-Benz C-Class Saloon (2014 - 2021) C 250 d AMG Line Premium Plus 4Matic 7G-Tronic Plus auto 4d Owner Review

I bought this car with 50 miles on the clock, pre reg, with a large discount. Being the Premium Plus version means it has most of the extras anyone could need plus it's 4 wheel drive , somewhat rare. I'm retired and with the various lockdowns I've only covered 15,000 miles in just under 3 years. I run it with 18" wheels in winter and 19" wheels in summer, the ride on both sizes is comfortable but slightly harder on the 19". Around town it returns about 34 mpg and on 40-50 mile runs it will return 45-47 mpg. It's a pre 2018 facelift so hasn't got the MBUX system, which suits me as I like the old less techy system. The 9-Gtronic gearbox is excellent and gearchanges are well timed and seamless. The 250d engine isn't the quietest of diesels but with 207bhp and 500Nm of torque it makes overtaking a breeze. I normally change my cars at 2-3 years old but having looked at alternatives for the past few months I've decided to keep this C-Class for a good few years more, ticks so many boxes that I can't justify swapping it for anything that's within my £40k budget.
