What is miles per pound?
Fuel economy
A more stringent standard for fuel economy (WLTP) was introduced from September 2017, and this model was not required to undergo that test.
Its fuel economy measured under the previous test system was 19 - 24 mpg. However these figures are less likely to be achievable in real world driving and so should never be compared to another car's mpg which was measured under the newer, more realistic WLTP system.

Expensive to run, vigorous driving will see the fuel gauge visibly moving and tyres wear quickly. Servicing costs are high and it will lose tens of thousands of pounds over the first few years of its life.
With average fuel consumption figures of just 21mpg and emitting 319 g/km CO2, it’s no surprise that it gets a rock-bottom eco score. Nonetheless, this is fairly standard for an executive coupé and it performs similarly to the Jaguar XK8 and BMW 6-Series. The only saving grace is that buyers of these sorts of cars tend to do fewer miles per year than those that own average family cars.
If given the correct servicing this car should be capable of huge mileages without problem.
