Mercedes-Benz CLK AMG (2002-2009) boot space, practicality and safety
The CLK is equipped with all the safety features that might be expected, including six airbags, a tyre pressure warning system and a traction and stability control system. The two rear seats have Isofix child seat anchor points and on the Cabriolet there are retractable rear head rests that need to be manually pulled into place whenever the roof is lowered and the back seats occupied.
It’s reasonably practical for such a fast car, with a decent sized-boot that will cope with several sets of golf clubs or pieces of luggage. The Cabriolet boot has a slightly smaller maximum capacity, and this is further reduced if the roof is to be lowered, but it’ll still cope with weekend luggage for four. The rear seats split and fold flat, even on the soft top model.
Pull the door closed having climbed inside and the CLK passes the seatbelt to front occupants.
