I have had my car 10 years. The excellent 2.3 engine and 5 speed automatic transmission have never let me down and it is great to drive. Using cruise control doing 55mph on the motorway, I get 40 mpg. Not so good around town. A great looking car with the roof down.and fun to drive. Check for rust above rear wheel arches.. With proper maintenance the car is highly reliable. although in 2017, somewhat dated. Care needs to be taken before selecing a car because repairs can be expensive. I was quoted £4000 by a main dealer to replace the hydrolic pump, in the boot, which raises and lowers the roof. I got a second hand pump for £250 via a breaker in Manchester and had it fitted for £150, total £400,.ten times cheaper than the price quoted by the dealer. if you are prepared, with the help of a local garage or small Mercedes specialist, to have the car serviced, it should last many years, provided you have bought a car that has been cared for.
