What does this car say about you?
Comfortably off... petrol price not an issue.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all love it.... two-year old grand-daughter delights in having the roof down and wind in her hair.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes I would, but probably the AMG 6.3-litre.

Another AMG.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Reasonable.... additional breakdown insurance costs not worth the paper they're printed on.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Thought we needed more touring room than in our SLK32 AMG. Now we have both!
What was the dealer like?
Friendly, persuasive... then evasive.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Easy, relaxed, when driven with light foot.... An animal with the throttle to the floor.
What's it like to park?
Easy... Front and rear park assist from new. Watch out for high kerbs especially in airport multi-storey carparks - scraping the front spoiler is then just too easy!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Serious front roof seal leak resulted in flooded footwells - rectification was almost £1,200. Performance is acceptable unless you also drive an AMG (we do!) - minor oil leak from N/S cam cover causes annoying smells - rectification is extortionate!
What's most practical about your car?
4 seater .... Just wish it had 5 seats! Room for fitted suitcases in the boot (excellent, from Germany) and if needs be 2 small cases in the back seats.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Auto box and engine are excellent. The roof works marvellously - up or down in 20 seconds.
