Summary
What does this car say about you?
I still get looks from people driving this car to work in my suit, even after 12 years, it still retains an essence of wealth. I didn't buy this car for that purpose though.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They were all astounded at the price, I've had guesses ranging from £5000 to £12000. Once inside they are all impressed at the comfort, smoothness and power.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, just offers tremendous value for money, excellent car, always puts a smile of my face.
What are you likely to buy next?
Depending on finances, CLK55, C32, CL55 or S55 amg.

Loved the looks, a lot of car for the money, perfect balance between, performance, comfort, kit and all in a nice looking coupe.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Superb, effortless engine, wonderful noise even with standard exhaust. Avantgarde is firm but supple, very comfy seats. Around town it will pootle smoothly with almost no engine noise, but get it on the open road and the bonnet rises, the engine roars and the torquey engine shoves you back into the seats. It will corner, but at fairly high speed the tail may start to overtake the front on lift off and under power it will eventually understeer, but overall its still superb fun on a windy road.
What's it like to park?
Easy really, high boot sometimes means you cant see the car behind to well, so a lot of judgement involved, but I've never had a problem and I have to parallel park everyday for work. The auto dipping passenger side mirror helps greatly with lining up to the curb.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only bulbs and fuses to date, just a few pounds each time. Now 134,000 miles.
What's most practical about your car?
Enormous boot, very surprised when I opened it! Can fit 4 adults too.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Trip computer with digital speedometer, mpg, oil level check, fuel tank content etc.
