In 2 years I have done 90,000 miles. It has only let me down twice, once a broken front spring, I knew they needed changing & was just trying to get to the end of the month before shelling out on them. (again cheaper than expected though) & the second time having been sat for 2 weeks on the coast the dodgy brake it's had since I brought it seized on. Didn't actually notice till I braked after 20 miles at 70 & the car started shaking like mad. New discs & calliper & again it was fine. Would like slightly better mileage out of the rear tyres, get around 23K fronts make 50K no issues. As with any merc get the tracking done properly, go to a decent independent rather than MB (MB B'ham take cars to one in Erdington & then charge you for the privilege)
How reliable do you find the car?
The car has been in the garage regularly. Just service work normally other than one sticky brake that took 2 years to solve. (just buy new callipers, they are cheap)Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Amazingly comfortable & fantastic on fuel. best I have seen is 64 to the gallon. Way more space than expected for a C class.About their car
