Mercedes-Benz CLS AMG (2005 - 2010) CLS55 4d Auto Owner Review

Bought a lovely CLS55 AMG in 2014 with 55k miles and still own it 5 years and 30k miles later. It needed a few things sorted early on, such as new alternator and batteries, but apart from that and a few electrical error messages which can be ignored, the car is bullet proof. Yearly servicing including oil change keeps the car running smoothly. But best of all it sounds like a Spitfire and goes like a rocket! Low Road tax rate at £325 odd and requires about a litre of oil every few months. It also used to wheel spin at 70mph but with the recent Michelin Supersport tyres it sticks to the road like glue and the ride is even better. If you have around £10k to spend and need 4 seats and a big boot - would you buy a Golf or a 500hp AMG rocket? :)
