What does this car say about you?
He might be getting on a bit but he still has a sense of youthful style.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Uber cool - and in black the car has a degree of menace which matches that of my wife .
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - as long as the financial equation added up and Mercedes dealers showed by deed and action that they really wanted my business as opposed to the previous arrogance.
What are you likely to buy next?
I could be tempted back to the Jaguar stable by the XF 'CAR of the year 'range - but only if prices and finances make sense.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Reasonable but took a hit on the part x of the SL.Sadly I needed to search out another dealership some distance away as the local Norwich Merc dealer would not play ball
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
wanted looks and presence to match the SL350 I partx plus more space than the SL.
What was the dealer like?
Very good communication process and well attended whilst in the showroom but once they realised I was not local and the prospect of having the servicing done there was not on - their interest evaporated.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
smooth and effortless but has enough straight line acceleration to get you out of trouble every time . Good turning circle
What's it like to park?
Thank god for parktronic -- with it parking is a breeze.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
One cracked rear light cluster I suspect was done during servicing but could not prove it . Electric mech failed on window winder - replaced under warranty
What's most practical about your car?
space in boot - no probs with golf clubs and shopping together!!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
parktronic - the car would be scratched to hell without this option.
