Mercedes-Benz CLS Coupe (2005 - 2010) CLS 350 CDI Grand Edition (Comand) 4d Tip Auto Owner Review

In their own words
I purchased the car under MBs used approved scheme and it has been cheaper to run than expected. It has done an average of 36.7mpg over the three years I have owned it. In that time a spring on the front suspension was replaced under -warranty, a couple of glow plugs have been replaced by an independent garage. Bi-xenon headlight bulbs can be fitted for a third of the price quoted by the main dealer. The 3.0 litre turbo diesel engine and 7g automatic gearbox are smooth and the performance from the 272bhp engine is excellent. Parking with Park assist parking sensors is a doddle. The only criticism is the MBs 3 year service plan is not transparent as I believe I could have had the car serviced cheaper at the main dealers if I paid at the time of service. I have asked how much I have been charged for the first two services and I have been told that I don't need to know. However, cars that are seven years old receive discounted services and I believe that I will not be getting the discount by paying under a 3 year plan. The car itself is fantastic to drive and I have no intention of replacing it anytime soon.
