What does this car say about you?

Well a young lad shouted "nice car mate" at me the other day so I'll go with that.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My mates are very jealous and my mum keeps asking to get on the insurance. I think that's a good sign.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes I would, its exactly what I wanted. Comfortable, fast and looks great.

What are you likely to buy next?

I would start with the new E-class when it comes out and is available second hand. I might have to get a saloon though. I will try the Audi rivals too.

Yes because of family ties to the dealer manager.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted something big enough for a 6ft 5 lad and still sporty. It helps that my fiancees dad works for Mercedes.

What was the dealer like?

Excellent although took a long time to source my new wheel (original was buckled). They didn't bother to call me at any point about it. Wouldn't pay for the windows which got scratched but this is declared in the warranty (annoyingly).

What's it like to drive?

It drives brilliantly. It's fast enough to get past all the irritating 50mph in a 60mph types but its refined and comfortable too. I drive it quite hard and easily get into 45+ mpg. It loves the motorway and I think it must make it's own diesel by the way it never drains the tank at 70mph in cruise control.

What's it like to park?

It's quite a big car and not the easiest to see out of but with the parking sensors and fantastic turning circle I've never had an issue. The passenger wing mirror angles down when in reverse to help you see the kerb.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The windows were scratched to hell with 3 weeks. Turned out the seals inside the door hardened when it was laid up and this caught stones in it which scratched the windows.

What's most practical about your car?

Huge boot. I got two large luggage cases and two smaller cases in no problem.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I love the navigation system. I've never had one in built before so this is a real treat for me.
