Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe (2009 - 2017) E250 BlueEFFICIENCY Sport 2d Tip Auto Owner Review

In their own words
I had a CLK before the E Class and I sometimes wish I had never sold it. The E class is better on fuel, I can get 60 mpg (diesel) on the motorway if I cruise at 60 mph and just below. The engine is fairly quiet fora diesel although not as quiet as some of the competition. The level of kit on the AMG Sport is pretty good with clever lights that dip full beam automatically and turn when cornering. Heated seats are nice, leather upholstery, COMMAND system with built in Sat Nav. The body work and paint finish seem to be lasting well but as another reviewer mentioned the wheels tarnish quickly. I am thinking of getting mine refurbed as I might keep this car for two or three more years. The 250 engine (2143 cc) is well powerful enough, it accelerates quickly from low speed and can cruse at high speed if that's what you're into. I bought mine from MB as Approved Used which I would recommend as you should be getting a good one and the one year warranty covers everything. But whatever, get a good warranty as the cost of replacement parts is high. In summary, the E class is a comfortable car that looks good, has a good engine and spec and is spacious enough to carry 4 adults and luggage.
How reliable do you find the car?
I've had the car for three years it is just coming up to six years old. It has been problem free apart from just now, a turbo boost and throttle body gaskets changed. These were £650 with a pair of windscreen wipers. I had the work done by MB, I know it could have been cheaper elsewhere but Merc were convenient as it needed doing, I booked it in on line and they did it the next dayAbout their car
