Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate 300 TE-24 5d Auto (1992/K) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
You get a lot for your money.
Costs
Uses a lot of petrol. Not much has gone wrong so haven't had to buy many parts. No need to buy MB parts for a car of this age.
-
On the road
Driving
Has very good acceleration and purrs along happily at any speed.
Performance
Nippy!
-
Living with it
Reliability
Has been very good but things are beginning to go wrong now (115,000mls.)
Image
It's a lovely car but the bodywork hasn't been looked after very well and it looks dated.
Comfort
Front seats are excellent and you can get a good driving position. Back seats are good. The two seats at the very back of this 7 - seater amuses children (who wave at everything behind), but are embarrassing to sit in if you're an adult-I've done it once!

Security and Service
Security
Can't imagine it would be difficult to break into. Central locking and alarm as standard.
