Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not too sure realy. I suppose it's prestige car but I'm not too worried about that. Practical maybe !
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I think they all like it
Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably not
What are you likely to buy next?
I have no idea right now but it will be worth considering non-prestige makes. I'll worry less about getting them scratched
-
Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£21,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Probably not the best but my Mondeo was going wrong regularly so bought in a hurry
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a large estate for the dogs and wanted automatic
What was the dealer like?
Fine, what you'd expect from a main dealer

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very nice. Solid and well behaved. The engines noisy at low speed though
What's it like to park?
Not too bad. It's a big car but the visability is good. The radar is a bit strange to get used to as you have lights in the car that come on the closer you get but there's no beeps just a solid tone when it's time to stop

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The Sat Nav had to be replaced as it wouldn't accept DVD's. The electric boot cover has been looked at and replaced several times, still doesn't work and now I'm past caring
What's most practical about your car?
The boot and the automatic transmission. The front and back radar is handy but I prefer beeps to the light system on the Merc
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I would probably say the Command system, but to be fair the ipod integration is poor and the sat nav display is very dated. The TMC setting is useful though
