Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate (2010 - 2016) E220 BlueTEC SE 5d Tip Auto Owner Review

This is not the car to charge down twisty lanes for fun. Ask nicely and she will gather up her voluminous skirts and hustle, but its just not what she does. Her real forte is relaxed. Pile in the kids, dogs, wardrobes etc. and set off with almost 10 hours of utterly painless driving in the tank, whether that is briskly cruising country B roads, or munching 600 miles of motorway, and the confidence you can still walk afterwards!
In our nine years together I can honestly say there has not been a single fault. Main dealer servicing is not unreasonable (if taken on a plan) and even the more consumable items aren't horrendous compared to more mundane chariots, so overall she has been very economical to run.
Would not buy another, but my days of needing a 100MPH shed are over, so I am glad I've had this one.
