Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate (2010 - 2016) E250 SE Premium 5d Tip Auto Owner Review

Bought this car to replace a Volvo V70 as Volvo did not provide a petrol V70 at the time I was shopping for a replacement. Good, reliable estate with a cavernous load area. Takes 3 golfers with their clubs, trolleys and luggage for a three day break, twice a year with no problems. Kept outside on the drive as too big for the garage. Only problem this winter was when the handbrake froze on one occasion. No problem for me as I am retired and wasn't rushing anywhere important. Had a recall within the first month of ownership but otherwise has been trouble free - other than that handbrake. 2.0 L petrol engine is smooth and powerful enough for me. I have never been a 'boy racer'.. Automatic box can be a bit hesitant at change sometimes, but not enough to be troublesome. It also has a proper ignition key, rather than a keyless system. How cool is that!.
