Summary
What does this car say about you?
A bit daft! But then again, not as daft as the bloke who bought it new ?
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
A bit daft! What was wrong with the E200 ?
Would you buy this car again and why?
I think petrol will have run out by the time I get around to replacing this ? I think large engined cars will become collectors items, for weekend use only ?
What are you likely to buy next?
Too soon to say

No

£8,495
When did you buy the car?
September 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
I think the dealer was having problems settling it ? No wonder, with petrol prices going up. It was probably cheaper than other dealers ... but a good buy ?
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Very helpful and honest

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Smooth, comfortable, relaxed, understated, and then all of a sudden mad, incredibly fast, solid.
What's it like to park?
Not easy to see the ends. But at £600 I can see why the original owner did not tick the "Parktronic" option!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Gearbox seal failed - lost all the gearbox oil and had to be recovered. But it was fairly cheap (£145) to resolve at an independent Mercedes Specialist garage.
What's most practical about your car?
Folding rear seats - essential for a saloon. (The boot is quite big but after a trip to the DIY shop, I often need the extra length folding down the seats gives.)
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Air suspension - very comfy or knock your fillings out, depending on how you feel.
