Doing well in life.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Think it costs more than it did! I get more compliments about this than the white C220 AMG sport plus which I thought looks nicer, although in Black our car does look rather dashing from side on.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, given you get more standard kit now, like leather and command and better engines, depends if we get a good deal again.

What are you likely to buy next?

If we get to 3 kids and the E is too small, a Hyundai Santa Fe and an M4 Drop top for myself.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Mercedes Benz Loughton. Got a good PX for our C Class, and a good amount of the price of the car as the face lift was out the next month.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

We previously had a 2012 C220 AMG Sport plus for 6 months, however the boot was too small to fit the Stokke pram and the ride was too harsh. So went for the car with the bigger boot and slightly softer ride.

What was the dealer like?

Our sales man was very good and understanding and allowed a proper test drive. Did his best to get the best price for us.

What's it like to drive?

Great motorway cruiser and good about town too. The AMG suspension means it gives the 5 series a ride for its money, although its not quite there. A happy medium on that front. We have got to 14000 miles now and the engine is just breaking in, and by association is getting more economical and the power delivery is getting better and better-only run the call on Shell V+ Nitro Diesel.

What's it like to park?

I find it east although I don't use the parking aid as much as I should, the wife has had a few arguments with the alloys :-(.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Had to have a firmware update because the car was blowing out cold air (not very obvious) in the back when choosing warm air and had to have the nearside mirror backing replaced as it got loose-all under warranty at service-no hassle and didn't affect the experience.

What's most practical about your car?

The boot is massive and you can get 4 adults in the car.

Becker Map Pilot Easy to use and update Sat Nav. And can take it from car to car!
