What does this car say about you?

I don't really know, maybe that I'm an old person trying to be young again? It looks a bit blingy.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think it looks alright, but it's a bit cramped.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No. Poor customer service, dull car. Just a note for those who like driving - every single car I've owned, it's felt like it's almost had a soul or at least some character - even my ancient Volvo XC90. This is completely devoid of character, a really boring car. After the terrible customer care, I'm never getting another Mercedes, and am getting an Audi to replace this even though its only 2 years old.

Did you get a good deal and why?

It was a decent deal - the car had a scratch on the interior and so was well below market value (however, the dealer didn't take photos/adequately warn us about it). The dealer said they'd buff the scratch out for us, but didn't even try.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Thought it would be adequate, never had a Mercedes so figured it would be worth a try.

What was the dealer like?

This car came from Dorset, even though we live in Oxford - we went to the Oxford dealership, and they tried to mislead us in terms of price etc. The Dorset dealer was acceptable, except for not telling us about the scratch.

What's it like to drive?

Poor. Slow, wheezy, clattery engine, no acceleration (despite being informed this engine would be suitable for a 'girl racer.'), my 2006 Golf had more get-up-and-go.

What's it like to park?

Okay. The sensors are in a layout which I've never seen on any other car, and they were a bit confusing.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes, the engine housing got deformed and got a rock stuck inside - after dealing with incredibly patronizing and incapable Mercedes breakdown assistance, it took 6 weeks to arrange a repair.

What's most practical about your car?

The boot is quite large, but rear space isn't what you'd expect from a small SUV.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The panoramic sunroof is nice. That's about it really.
