Great to drive but later updated version is better.
Slow to respond when accelerating but found the later version excellent
Good fuel economy and huge range for long distances.
The steering is nicely balanced and acceleration is very good from any speed (legal). I also looked at the Lexus NX which I really wanted but the engine sounded awful and thrashy when accelerating hard. The GLA is much quieter and more civilised.
Interior quality is up to Mercedes standards and the switchgear has that quality feel.
Boot is a little on the small side comparedto other cars of the same size but meets my needs.
Dealer was nowhere near the Lexus quality and an area Mercedes really need to work on, it almost put me off buying the car. They made me feel they were doing me a favour even talking to me.
Servicing costs are extortionate but trapped by getting the MB stamp and they charged for a loan car on a 700 pounds service!!!
Overall happy with the car but will think twice next time before buying an MB.
