Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class (2015 - 2022) GLC 220 d 4Matic AMG Line Premium 9G-Tronic Plus auto 5d Owner Review

Bought my used car last August & for the most part very pleased with it. The aircon failed within 4 weeks of ownership but it was fixed promptly under warranty. No other issues with it thus far. Running costs are proving a tad better than expected, I'm getting between 40 & 54mpg (average 43mpg) and that's mostly around town & commuting. On a recent motorway run it returned 59mpg running on Comfort mode. Oddly Comfort mode is more frugal than Economy mode? The car is generally very quiet, even at low speeds & the luxury feel of the cabin is very pleasing. It is super comfortable to drive. My only bugbear with this car is the temporary high road tax (£600 pa), but that's not MB's fault & under current rules it will come down in 2 years. Would I recommend it - Yes. It drives beautifully, looks fantastic from every angle, and has lots of spec. I drove an e-class before, this is a few levels above. Was initially torn between a RR Velar & the GLC, but reliability was a factor & after testing out both several times, I am glad I chose the GLC.. 4 months into ownership & I honestly cannot find anything negative to say.
