Owned this car from 12 months old until 4 years old. Loved driving it. Powerful 200bhp engine giving me enough power when needed. Interior felt really classy. And the exterior styling was nice to look at, especially with the 20” wheels.
Achieved more than 50mpg when keeping to 70 on motorways. Easily >40mpg when using cruise control at 80. Had no reliability issues, but the car did have one inherent fault that I lived with for 3 years. At low speeds, when turning the steering wheel on a tight radius, the tyres would squeal. On a wet surface this would feel like the front end was sliding. As it only occurred at less than 10mph, it wasn’t a safety issue and only happened when I was in car parks or turning on slowly on mini-roundabouts.
How reliable do you find the car?
The only real problem was a tyre squeal issue at very low speeds (less than 10mph), when making a tight turn. On dry roads this made the tyres squeal but on wet surfaces it felt like the front end was sliding. Not a safety issue and I lived with it for 3 years till I sold the car.About their car
