Economy
Value
A large Mercedes with oodles of leather and wood, with a very high-torque, common-rail diesel engine and very little engine noise.
Costs
The 3 year warranty covers almost anything, so if you buy from new or close to, you'll have very little to pay for except servicing, which by the way are 13-15k miles apart!

On the road
Driving
On the road it drives like a car and handles like a car, that's why the motorway police use them - off road it does very well; sure it's not a Land Rover, but I have taken many a hill and rutt easily!
Performance
Sure it won't set your hair on fire, but for a 2 ton diesel truck, this thing moves! Turn off the ESP and off road it's great fun, spinning all the way to the jetwash!

Living with it
Reliability
Hardly a murmur. I do high mileage and it has never failed, c'mon, it is a Mercedes after all.
Image
Put 17"s on it, black it out and it will turn heads, even if they are just being nosey. It's a big, expensive truck.
Comfort
Many a mile, many a long run, never a yawn, never a numb bum! It has had a little rattle or two, but I just turn the stereo up.

Security and Service
Security
It locks, it alarms, the indicators flash - I'm not technical.
Service
3 year unlimited warranty with A1 service and unlimited coffee!
