On the positive side, bags of perseverance with large bills and, on the negative, too interested in status neglecting common sense.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My wife hates it, family like it and not sure about the neighbours.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Never again. I have lost all faith in Mercedes. It is the fourth Mercedes I have owned and 3 of them have, quite simply, been rubbish. How can such a brand hold such a strong reputation.
What are you likely to buy next?
A Jaguar. Finders crossed.

Fair deal at the time.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted a big diesel with style and comfort.
What was the dealer like?
Honest but very sloppy on re inspection.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great when it worked. It sat on the road beautifully and had plenty of power. Relaxing on a long drive.
What's it like to park?
Easy to park, very light and handled like a small car.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Huge problems for the last 5 years. Electrics, engine smoke, failed injectors, suspension, air conditioning, rust...you name it.
What's most practical about your car?
The size and handling were good, when it worked.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The large sunroof was terrific but really, the rest was I would have expected.
