Summary
What does this car say about you?
Appreciative of high quality build and its a timeless classic beauty.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love its look and style.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No qualms whatsoever !, once you have owned one, other marques seem insignificant.
What are you likely to buy next?
A slightly newer one, must be a straight 6 cylinder though, the newer ones are a little too technical for my liking, expensive to maintain, as well as temperamental, so I hear ?.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,500
When did you buy the car?
January 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
It was owned by a friend whom had used it sparingly, and wanted to upgrade, I feel I got a bargain, as it would have been a £60k car back in its day, for Mondeo money.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Weekend cruiser.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Cruises like a dream, and surprises the boy racers, given its age, effortless motorway overtaking, and loves a country lane too.
What's it like to park?
Easier with the roof down, not so difficult with it up either, nice low lines give you ample vision.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The smile gets broader by the compliment, it has never let me down, even though I sometimes don't turn the key for several weeks at a time, as it doesn't go out in the rain, snow etc...
What's most practical about your car?
Economic to both run and maintain, as long as you shop around to good indies for parts (although seldom required).
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Fully automatic roof, no handles or levers, pure class, and the first classic to have such.
