Mercedes-Benz SL-Class (2002 - 2011) SL 500 (388bhp) 2d Tip Auto (7) Owner Review

I have the updated 550 model, much better than the original 500, more power and with the 7 speed gearbox. ABC sport control is superb and cuts the body roll considerably giving you more confidence in higher speed cornering. ESP can be disengaged, but beware, makes it a handful. Glass panoramic roof is great and boot space is not too bad even with the roof down. Try and get the best spec possible, I have the keyless entry and start option also full heated and aircon seats with back massage function. Entertainment system and satnav is not touch screen so I shopped about and found a modern direct touchscreen replacement for under £500 fitted. Miles of smiles this car has given me and prices are on the up for good condition models, big future classic.
