Summary
What does this car say about you?
I don't think the car says anything about me. However, I think the car is elegant.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everybody loves it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Its well built - they even chrome bits you don't see unless the door is open. The engine is great and has been relliable. She's comfortable and, so far, trouble free. However, I can live with a removable hard top, being careful in the wet, it being 2 seater (with mini rear seats) and a bit thirsty. All that aside, she is just beautiful.
What are you likely to buy next?
Nothing yet. But i'd consider an sl500 r107.

I think so.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fine in town, auto gear box is fine. Cornering isn't great as steering is heavy and the wheel is disproportionately large. She's not great in the wet and the breaks are a touch heavy but nothing you wouldn't expect from an old car. On the motorway she's really good. She purrs up to spec and sounds great whilst doing it. You don't feel out of place with modern cars around you, has a quiet (ish) cabin and plenty of rod.
What's it like to park?
Parking is really simple due to its shape. You can see each corner.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No.
What's most practical about your car?
Nothing in particular. Not that its impractacle, other than the impracticalities of owning a removable hard top 2 seater. It has a spacious cabin, central locking, a decent boot and starts first time. I guess the most practical thing about it is the insurance as its cheap.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The V8 engine.
