Summary
What does this car say about you?
Probably mid-life crisis! I like to think - 'has good sense of style'.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Love to buy another, but hate the post-2011 style which is boring. Other convertibles may be better to drive but none look so good.
What are you likely to buy next?
Don't think it's been designed yet. I want good looks and a good driving experience with plenty of power and an affordable price. Not a boring eco box.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£14,995
When did you buy the car?
January 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Excellent price, mileage below average for the year, sports pack has 18 inch alloys, leather seats, airscarf etc.. Dealer was selling on behalf of a private owner.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I had been looking for months, this ticked all the boxes on specification and price.
What was the dealer like?
Very good, no hard sell, just left us to road test the car. Car sold itself to us. Just as it should be.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Good on bendy B roads, but also cruises well on motorways. As it is unbadged, has the sports pack, with AMG looks, but just 184bhp - it is a bit of a sheep in wolf's clothing! However, it does not fail to put a smile on my face whenever I am in it as driver or passenger. Bit fed up being challenged off the lights by almost everything, though.
What's it like to park?
Needs parking sensors ideally. Long nose and you need to leave at least 40cm clearance at the back if you plan to lower the roof. Large door mirrors aid visibility.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not so far.
What's most practical about your car?
It's a 2 seater roadster, cannot really call it practical! But it wasn't purchased with that in mind.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Remote operation for roof mechanism. Airscarf. Heated seats.
