Slipped under my radar for years. Lighter, faster and better handling than I thought. Only weighs 1350kg.(owner's manual), covers the 0-60mph dash in 5.3 seconds (check "Fastest Laps") and handles rather well. It has a gem of an engine, a 3.5 litre naturally aspirated, quad-cam, 24 valve beauty, that produces 268 bhp and a glorious noise on full throttle. The build quality is superb, it has a folding hard-top so it's both a coupe and a convertible, and it looks great. Considering the performance, the fuel economy is good too.The only better SLK is the 55 AMG. Maybe one day! Buy an SLK 350. You'll love it!
How reliable do you find the car?
I do very little mileage, which helps with the reliability, but I can only speak as I find, and I find it fantastic!Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
