Summary
What does this car say about you?
No idea! Not thought about that. Although friends have asked to use it due to its versatility!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
No idea / not fussed what the neighbours think! Friends, like me, enjoy the versatility!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, but a newer model! The spring suspension can make the car 'wallow' sometimes. Air suspension would be better! I'd also insist on parking sensors and cruise control next time!
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably a Vito. However, for a 7 year old car I'm shocked by the level of rust in some unexpected places! Rust is an issue MB need to attend to! In this respect it's almost on a parr with an Italien car!!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£10,000
When did you buy the car?
May 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
It was fair! Reasonably priced for what it is.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Practicality. Needed the seats (passenger carrying ability) as well as a van.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Heavy and cumbersome on normal roads or around town. Comes into it's own on the motorway. Very comfortable on long trips. Tyres can wear out quite quickly though!
What's it like to park?
Good all round vision and a truly excellent turning circle for a vehicle of it's size means it is easy to park. However, it is huge and often 'fills' the parking bay. It's height can be a problem in some multi-storey car parks!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No serious mechanical problems. It's the manual version and it can, occasionally, be difficult to engage fifth gear. The driver's arm rest is easily broken! There aren't any load hooks to strap items down with in the rear of the vehicle, which is a pain!
What's most practical about your car?
The ability to remove the seats so it becomes a 'van'. Even removing two seats there is lot of room in the back!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Don't really have a favourite gadget! The rear twin sunroofs allow light into the rear. I've fitted an inverter under the passengers seat and that is useful for laptops etc.. Plenty of 12V power take offs around the car.
