MG Motor UK MG6 (2011 - 2016) 1.8T TSE Hatchback 5d Owner Review

I am very surprised that many 'so called' professional reviewers have given this car poor or mediocre reviews when the MG6 has won several awards including:- Auto Express. Best family car: Bronze winner. Auto Express. Road handling: Silver winner. Auto Express. Best manufacturer: Bronze winner. The Caravan Club. Tow Car of the Year 2013. Car News: Best engine design for the MG6' Kavachi engine 2008. Many professional reviews have claimed that the plastic used in the dashboard is cheap. In my opinion it isn't that bad and certainly is better than that used in the Modeo. Previous reviewers have already given good pros and cons in their summaries and I would agree with them. But, to emphasize, this is a beautiful car to drive. I would also point out that being an MG you will find, as I have, that you suddenly become part of a club. The MG badge has a lot of history and still retains a lot of respect, how many other car manufacturers can claim to have a car club dating back to 1930. I, of course, am referring to the MG Car Club of which I have become a member. You will find on the front of their magazine the statement "The Marque of Friendship". This is very true and whilst I have been refuelling at the petrol station I have often been approached by people who own MGBs or MGFs. I have caught other MG6 owners parking next to me and taking a photo of our two cars together. How many other car makes can claim such a history or such a friendship between owners?
