Summary
What does this car say about you?
I think it says we are a bit different. We have always been attracted to slightly quirky cars so this fits the bill.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The like it, quite often people think it is a BMW 5 series. We often get people come up and talk about it especially if they are MG fans.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, as much as we like the MG6 the depreciation is horrible. It is not even three years old and I would be lucky to get a third of what we paid for it.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe the cactus or a Juke. I would like a small Merc or a BMW but the prices are out of our league.

Did you get a good deal and why?
No not really, we got nothing off the book price and they gave us a little under what I thought our trade in was worth.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Always liked MGs and I thought this was an opportunity to own a modern on and help support the brand. Also price for what you got was very good.
What was the dealer like?
Not bad, friendly enough but somewhat disorganised. Had a couple of bust ups with them over getting some simple things looked at under warranty which I thought was petty and unnecessary.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It is a great car to drive. Ours is the petrol version and it has loads of power and minimal road noise.
What's it like to park?
It is a long car but the power steering is very light and the front and rear sensors and rear camera is very useful when parking.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
CD player stopped working, boot seal failed (so we got a boot full of rainwater), handbrake cable stretched to the point where the handbrake would not hold the car. Battery failed during first year of ownership.
What's most practical about your car?
It is a great sized family car and has a large boot space and cabin space is very good as well.

Rear parking camera.
