Not too bothered about image, but would like something a little bit different. Happy to try something new.

Others have commented how different the car looks and it has gotten positive reviews from work colleagues, family and friends.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would, but perhaps in diesel.

I'm happy to stick to MG if they continue to deliver.

Excellent deal due to depreciation.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

WHY DID I BUY THIS CAR? I bought the MG6 because I found out I could buy a well screwed together and reasonably efficient vehicle which was a year and a half old which a few thousand miles, warranty and full service history for less than £10k in some intriguing colours. I didn’t buy it because it was an MG nor because it was British.

What was the dealer like?

The dealer was Grant McAllan Garages in Sheffield and the sales person was John Power. John was knowledgeable, helpful and kind. I viewed the car on Autotrader on Wednesday, rang John to enquire and was able to view, pay and pick up the car on the Saturday. That’s the sort of service folk complain about not receiving today.

What's it like to drive?

With the expensive Continental tyres MG provides, it sticks to the road and corners very well. This makes it feel safe and responsive. The braking is excellent with all round disks rather than the more traditional drum braking and the suspension has been set up for our pot holed roads which allow the car to ride over them with relative ease. I found when going over speed bumps, this can unsettle the car even at slow speeds.

What's it like to park?

In town, it’s easy to easy to navigate and slide through the traffic. The front and rear sensors have been very useful. The rear parking camera, which I thought was a bit of a gimmick initially, has been very useful in getting into tight spaces because rear visibility is a little poor out of the rear screen.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not asyet!

What's most practical about your car?

The boot size and room within the car.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It's got to be the leather heated seats and sat nav. Nice!
