Economy
Value
If you want a quick British-made sportscar, look nowhere else!
Costs
Hmmm - depends how lucky you are. Get one that has already had a HGF, and look for one with feel miles on it, that way all the the teething troubles are out the way!

On the road
Driving
The steering is pretty responsive and light when travelling at low speeds / turning round. The only problem is with the speed sensitive steering, as you slow / break from fast speeds the car seems to wobble as the required force to turn the wheel decrease
Performance
Get a VVC. 0 - 60 in 7 seconds. That's all I need to say…

Living with it
Reliability
Again, there are horror stories around of bad build quality, HGF's and general badness. That said, there are a lot of people who have bought them and had NO problems whatsoever. Patchy is a word you could use - make sure you check out www.mgcars.org.uk
Image
Looks a little dated, interior is good / average - I personally think that the MGF in British Racing Green is a very nice looking car - some may say it's a little long in the tooth, they haven't driven one though have they!
Comfort
Wind noise is bearable, the rid is ok, the seats are a little high but can be adjusted to suit you, as can the steering wheel (up and down). I have green and black leather in mine which is the only way…
