MG RV8 (1993 - 1997) RV 8 2d Owner Review

I could have bought a Porsche for the same money, but I'm so glad I didn't, the MG is a relatively rare sight on British roads. I upgraded the shock absorbers to Spas adjustable, which has transformed the handling. Nothing has power assistance except the brakes, so you actually have to drive it, so much more satisfying than a Eurobox. The engine sounds wonderful, its not a racer, its rare you have to exceed 2000 rpm, there's just so much torque & adequate speed when you need it. I took the car to the Spa classic in Belgium, everybody was looking at it & photographing it etc, much to the annoyance of the Ferrari owners. Can't think of another sports car I'd rather have, just as a bonus, its doubled in value in 3 years, much better than an ISA & I can drive it too.
