Value
Good extras on the +.
Costs
Running costs are not bad on the 1.4. It does about 40mpg, but tyres are expensive. The Mitchelin tyres that they come with from new, the cheepest I can find them is £105.00.

Driving
Very nice car to drive. Suspension a bit hard, but it's a sportscar - it's supposed to be.
Performance
The 1.4 is a bit sluggish at low revs and to get the best from it you have to keep it above 4000rpm.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems so far, starts first time.
Image
Very aggressive styling without looking like a Max Power reject, like the Novas, Corsas and Saxos you see round towns.
Comfort
Seats are comfortable. Only problem is a slightly poor driving position. This may nag you over long distances.

Security and Service
Security
As of the end of 2001, they all come now with a Cat1 alarm as a lot of ZRs were being stolen.
Service
Very good. My fog lights had water in and they were replaced right away.
