Economy
Value
£10k and no electrics or central locking. £300+ at best to fit. Offset by bodykit and alloys.
Costs
1.4 is cheap enough. Seems to have a thirst for oil?

On the road
Driving
Excellent! Easy to thrash and handling is great. Speed - won't beat anything more than supermini.
Performance
Good, given 1.4 engine. Tuned to 105bhp, so easy to beat 1.4/1.6 Golfs/Focus/Civic.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems.
Image
A bit boy racer! Will impress the 'local youth', especially when you have the windows tinted and upgrade the stereo...
Comfort
'Sports seats' will hold you well, though the 'leather' covers broke after 4 months and have faded somewhat. No AC.

Security and Service
Security
Fitted with alarm and immobiliser.
Service
VERY poor. Arnold Clark have recieved an extensive amount of bad press on the internet for good reason. Their branch in Liverpool is particularly bad. My car came without oil.
